Hello! I'm Misty. My husband Thom and I started Hampshire Roots Homestead to embrace sustainable living and a closer connection to nature. We started on less than an acre of land in 2015 with a small garden for fresh veggies and herbs. As our knowledge grew and we began to understand the importance of our new lifestyle on our health, we wanted to expand. In the fall of 2022, we purchased a 20-acre homestead in Hampshire County, WV, where my family has lived since the late 1700s, inspiring our name.
